Meet Alex Matos, Owner of May River Boat Detailing
As a Florida Keys native, Alex grew up surrounded by water—fishing, scuba diving, and boating from an early age. His love for the water and his country led him to join the United States Navy in 2010, where he served as a Boatswain’s Mate and later qualified as a Master Helmsman. During his service, he became skilled in ship care and maintenance. He was also in charge of the care and operation of his ship's search and rescue boats.
Upon leaving the Navy he met his wife Kelly and they went on to have four children. They fell in love with the lowcountry and decided to make it their forever home. When Alex isn't detailing boats or spending time with his family he is on his flats boat fishing. As a boat owner and USCG Captain he understands that your boat is an investment. He will properly care for your boat as if it were his own.
