Meet the owner
Alex Matos is the owner and operator of May River Boat Detailing. As a Florida Keys native he grew up fishing, scuba diving, and boating. His love for the water and his country prompted him to join the United States Navy in 2010 where he was a boatswain's mate and later qualified as a master helmsman. As a boatswain's mate he learned how to care for the ship. He was also in charge of the care and operation of the search and rescue boat. Upon leaving the Navy he met his wife Kelly and they went on to have three children. They fell in love with the lowcountry and decided to make it their forever home. When Alex isn't detailing boats or spending time with his family he is on his flats boat fishing. As a boat owner and USCG Captain he understands that your boat is an investment. He will properly care for your boat as if it were his own.
